Construction Grade Expanded Perlite
TurkPerlite supplies construction grade expanded perlite as a lightweight mineral aggregate for insulating concrete, cement- and gypsum-based plasters, loose-fill masonry insulation, fire-resistant products and acoustic building materials. Its cellular structure reduces finished-product density while contributing to thermal and sound-insulation performance.
Expanded perlite can replace part or all of conventional dense aggregate in selected formulations. Grade selection depends on the target density, strength, thermal conductivity, workability and application method. Consistent particle-size distribution and bulk density are therefore important for repeatable mixing and finished-product performance.
Perlite lightweight insulating concrete is used in roof decks, floor fills, slope-to-drain systems and other non-structural insulation applications. Perlite plaster can provide a lightweight base coat with thermal, acoustic and fire-performance benefits when designed and applied as part of an appropriate building system.
